Sharon Tassel (Al’s much better half) began her career in the fitness industry in 1994. After being honored by the Boston Globe as 3 sport All American, Sharon continued her athletic career via a full athletic scholarship at the Division 1, Atlantic 10 Conference University of Rhode Island. Once her athletic career ended, Sharon decided to pursue her personal training certification and devote her time to helping others reach their full fitness potential.
In addition to being an active certified trainer for over 25 years, Sharon has been the General Manager at multiple health clubs throughout Boston’s north shore. Along with husband Al, they successfully implemented the Pro Fitness Program in their own club (2012) which today still sets the standard for 1 to 1 personal training revenue per square foot at $75.00! Today, Sharon continues to find time to train clients and travels the US implementing the Pro Fitness Program in independent clubs.
“For years our clubs struggled to generate substantial revenue with PT and this program was the solution we were looking for. I find it very gratifying when clubs embrace what we teach them and make more money than they ever dreamed possible. If every trainer had PFP in their club they’d never need another job because they would have as many clients as they could handle.”
